Maestro Rene' Heredia has performed for Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco, President Gerald Ford, President Jimmy Carter, Princess Noor of Jordan, and countless others.  He has also peformed with the greatest flamenco artists of all time including Carlos Montoya, Carmen Amaya, Sabicas, José Greco, Paco de Lucia. He has performed worldwide from Carnegie Hall to The Westminster Theater in London and even The Ed Sullivan Show. History of Dos de Mayo
On May 2, 1808 Spain rebelled against the occupation of France. It marks the beginning of the Spanish War of Independence.  On this day heroes of the war for independence are commemorated in squares and plazas throughout the city of Madrid. Today, joyous Spaniards fill the streets for parades, music, communal dining, dancing and fireworks, and Sangria, lots of Sangria...!
