Summer Workshops for Kids  2019

For the Young Adventurer  Ages 4-6  10:00-3:00
June 3  Ranch Life
at Ranch Headquarters
5036 N US HWY 85 Sedalia, CO

Yeehaw! Ride'em cowboy or should we say, cowgirl?  Come and experience life on the ranch through literature, imaginative play and ranch adventures.  Meet the animals, do some chores and play some games.  Immerse your youngster in a time when Douglas County was full of cattle and working ranches.

Cherokee Ranch & Castle Foundation is proud to have the support of the Nora Roberts Foundation for this program.

A few details to keep in mind:

  • Please verify the time, date and location of your specific workshop.
  • Your child will need to bring his/her own lunch and a healthy snack for the afternoon.
  • Send plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat.  Your child should wear weather-appropriate apparel, including closed-toe shoes—we will be outside.
  • Release of Liability Waiver and Camp Activities and Medication Policy forms must be signed and turned in at the beginning of the workshop.
  • You will receive a detailed email regarding the workshop about a week ahead of time.
  • If a participant’s behavior is such that it is deemed a risk or danger to self or others, the workshop staff reserves the right to end participation.
  • Transportation to and from camp is the family’s responsibility.  Please be aware that there are no accommodations for early arrivals or late pick-ups.

  • We look forward to giving your child a very memorable experience!
